Surprise! Spring 2013 key colours include...black and white. 

Don't flip on the "boring" switch yet, because like we saw in F/W 2012 where black was a dominant colour playing with various textures, Spring is also full of surprises with the white/black combo. For example, if you usually wear a white blouse with a black pencil skirt, you can instantly look chic by wearing a black blouse with a white pencil skirt (Really. Think about it.)

S/S 2013 runway shows were dominated with sleek pant suits and a nod to power dressing with the black and white trend (my favorite were from Saint Laurent - which was yours?) 

So here's a fresh new take on black/white dressing to work. Here's a look I've put together. A long white overcoat with a think black belt, paired with a one-piece black dress, where both pieces exude a classy and feminine vibe. My favorite piece of course are those to-die-for heels from BCBGeneration. Perfect because it's closed toe, but has sexy, sling, ankle straps.
