Spring is in our sights and in full bloom. We are finally starting to see some long awaited sun, planning our spring getaways and tossing aside our cold weather attire and making room for fresh spring color and shoes to match. We recently linked up with Emilee Durrant, creator of The Simplicity Blog to give us a run down of some of her favorite spring trends this season.
Nothing gets me more excited for spring than spring shoes! Sandals, sneakers, bright colors, they are all a breath of fresh air after this cold winter we have been having. Today I am teaming up with SHOEme.ca to bring you my Spring Shoe Trend Guide.Seychelles. The nude color can go with anything and the gold buckle adds the perfect touch. I love a wood heel because it totally plays into the 70’s trend that has been everywhere lately. I chose a sandal version, but I also love a closed toe shoe with a wood heel. I love how these go so well with a dress, but I have also worn them with jeans. They are perfect dressed down as well. You can shop all of my favourites as well as the shoes I am wearing by clicking on the pictures below.

lace up flats in black and nude (and now red!) and have worn them countless times with so many different outfits. These first came out a couple of years ago and would set you back a couple hundred dollars. Now, there are so many options at great price points. There is no excuse to skip out on this trend for spring.
Now for my favorite trend, white sneakers. There was a time when I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing white sneakers out of the house. They were reserved for middle aged men going to the gym. The last thing I would call it was chic. Oh how things have changed. We saw this trend last fall when everyone was wearing their black Nike’s with dresses, jeans, and skirts. There is nothing I love more than being comfortable and totally on trend. I embraced this trend for fall and now I am so excited to wear my white sneakers for spring. This trend has been seen on the runway and on all your favorite celebs. It won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, so if you can only pick one trend this season this one should be it!
