Characterized by lengthy and often frigid winters, the timber-producing regions of the Pacific Northwest and Canada have long been a tough environment to work in. It was this harsh climate that encouraged Charles Danner to move his boot company from Wisconsin to Oregon in the 1930's to capitalize on making durable logging boots that could withstand the natural conditions.
Over 80 years later, Danner work and hiking boots for men and women are still handcrafted to provide durable support and incredible quality. They also incorporate some of the best technologies for both waterproof and insulation, including: triple stitching; cushioning Vibram Duralogical outsoles; breathable GORE-TEX® lining for extreme conditions; and Fatigue Fighter footbeds for all day comfort and arch support. Combined, these features keep your feet comfortable indoors without sacrificing protection from the elements.
The Spring 2014 lookbook from Danner displays their boots in the setting of where it all began: the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
