STYLE TIPS FOR THESE CHIC SHOES FROM HARDY DESIGN WORKS

HDW DalstonRecently, we were lucky enough meet with Jenny Hardy, from Hardy Design Works (that's her in the photos). Hardy Design is killing it with their latest collection for men and women. We came away from the photo shoot pretty amped, so we asked Nikki Laing, our Assistant Fashion Buyer, for some tips on how we should wear these bad boys.

THE SHOE: Dalston

THE TIP: This style can easily transition into fall with the addition of stockings and an LBD (Little Black Dress). It is no longer a faux pas to wear stockings with open toe shoes, just make sure the seam is not showing and your pedi is taken care of.

THE SHOE: Elie

THE TIP: When rocking a sexy stilleto like the Elie, I love to dress down with the basics - a pair of distressed denim and a white t-shirt. I have personally worn these shoes for a full day in the city and they passed with flying colours.

THE SHOE: Crofton

THE TIP: Since the 1940s Chukkas have always been en pointe. Now, re-invented with an athletic bottom, every man's shoe game has gotten way stronger. I see the Crofton paired with dark denim and your favorite tee. Tried, tested and true.

THE SHOE: Kelso

THE TIP: Athletics are the jam right now, so investing in a pair that's the perfect mix of comfort and fashion is a great move. They can honestly be paired with anything, from your favorite button up and shorts to a two-piece suit. Confidence is the key.
