When we say crazy pants, they have actually been referred to as such in some magazines - albiet somehow it came off with a positive connotation. I actually love them and have a few pairs in my closet because they can dress up a plain blouse so easily and makes an outfit's fun factor exponentially higher.
Take a look at the "crazy pants" featured in this picture - which pattern would you wear? I am a fan of the printed blue trousers on the top right from Erdem Melinda - it goes with just about everything from a tank top plus denim shirt to a black blouse tucked in. How about the bright floral print cropped pants next to them? Open-toe pumps with ankle straps would give it a ladylike vibe with a sleeveless leather laser-cut top (just imagine!)
You would think that it's hard to find shoes for these pants, but the staples would be to keep the shoes simple if your pants are already screaming for attention. Our latest additions to our brand selection would be great for you to choose from:
- Hush Puppies Carrington ($100): Last year we saw the fashion world go nuts over heeled oxfords with tassles - this year the trend goes on, add in the Hush Puppies signature suede material with a stacked heel.
- Via Spiga Demetra Ankle Bootie ($385): The classic black bootie that you will get a TON of mileage from. Whether you wear them with jeans, edgy skirts or these print pants, you will look sleek in any season.
- Lucky Brand Moran Wedge Sandals ($115): The whole cute socks with sandals thing? If you are a fashion trendsetter then you should try this - pair cropped print trousers with cute socks that go just 2 - 3 inches above the ankle and wear it with these sandals!
