RULE #1: SOCKS AND SANDALS ARE FOR DADS

Socks and sandals are just for dads, right? We don't think so. We're reclaiming this 'uncool' look and bringing it back to the fashion forefront. Truthfully, an unlikely combination; there is something bold and expressive when it comes to this reworked trend that we love.

NO-RULE ZONE

From casual Birkenstock to sporty Teva and heeled sandals - there's no limit when it comes to experimenting with this trend. Find the fun again in dressing for the day; whether your look is the feminine romantic, the contemporary  art student or that kid-who-dressed themselves—it all works. Throw the rulebook away and express yourself - socks first.

IT'S NOT ALWAYS THAT SIMPLE

When it comes to pairing socks with sandals this summer—we are doing it for a reason. We want to stand out, to make our look pop—and only the eclectic can do that for us. Delicate pastels with romantic floral patterns, avant-garde geometric designs and ornate prints will ensure our socks and sandals look stays on point.

BRING IT HIGHER

Sporty sandals such as Teva and the laid-back vibe of Birkenstock are definitely the choice of the season when it comes to rocking the socks and sandals look. However, they don't have to be the only ones. Add some drama to your summer days by pairing your socks with platform sandals, heeled sandals and wooden-bottomed heels.

PULL THEM UP. WEAR THEM LOW

While above the ankle-length socks seem to be the most common we've seen this season, that won't stop us from branching out. Over-the-knee socks are ALWAYS in style and low-ankle socks also work really well with this look.
